In the book ' Blijf agile ' affiliate Stephen Steijger, Arjan Jansen van 't Land and Viktor Steijger take you by the hand to get to work enthusiastically with yourself, your team and the organization. After reading this book, I'll share the important lessons below. Personal leadership Start with yourself first or take your employee by the hand. The authors of the book have developed various methods to gain insight into your personality. One of the methods they use is based on the talents of Luk Dewulf. In a talent radar you can name your talents in order to gain insight into which talents you can develop further. For example, one of my talents is: 'Bringer together; I have a low threshold and approach new people easily. Others easily photo editor approach me. I also like to connect people.' In the talent radar I can indicate how far this talent has developed and whether I can develop it further. If you fill in the entire radar, it gives a nice insight into your strength. To trust To build a fruitful working relationship, it is important to know what makes you reliable as a person. The authors refer to Stephen Covey's four building blocks for credibility: Integrity intentions Capacities Results The most important thing for a leader is to build trust. In a climate of safety and trust, employees can give the best of themselves. I can confirm this from my own experience. I have been working at Moneybird for several years now.
